ZAMBIA’s envoys in the CAF Champions league preliminaries Green Eagles’ opponents, Orlando Pirates, have named three Zambian stars in their travelling party for their continental assignment set for Nkoloma stadium this Saturday.
The Chipolopolo trio, consisting Augustine Mulenga, Austin Muwowo and Justin Shonga, have been named in the squad which is traveling to Lusaka for the game against Eagle.
According to the Pirates itinerary, the Soweto based soccer giant are set to land at the Lusaka’s Kenneth Kaunda international Airport aboard a SAA flight today (Thursday) around 15: 10 hours.
The Buccaneers have named a strong squad that also included star midfielder, Thembinkosi Lorchi, who was instrumental in the team’s outstanding run last season which saw it miss out on the coveted league trophy by a whisker on the last day of the season.
Coach Milutini Micho Sredojevic has also named Happy Jele and Wayne Sandilands who are the longest and only surviving members of the Pirates side that last travelled to Zambia to play Zanaco at the same venue in the 2013 edition of the Champions league.

Former Forest Rangers and Nkana striker Austin Muwowo who is yet to play his debut game, was left out of the squad which played against Celtic but coach Micho Sredojevic has shown faith in the new signing by including him in the squad.
