Vegas Annex hosts DJ CJ Homecoming party tonight

UK-based Zambian veteran broadcaster and DJ, Chella Katwishi who returns home for a visit will tonight feature at Club Vegas Annex in Long Acres for a special welcome shindig starting at 20 hours till late.
The seasoned entertainer and former ZNBC staffer will be hosted by the versatile Bismarck Tembo aka DJ Bizzy Wizzy, DJ Kedo and Surface DJ all resident DJs at Club Vegas Annex.
“This is special show for our patrons to welcome our legendary DJ, mentor and inspiration,” said DJ Bizzy Wizzy in explaining tonight’s show.
“As you are aware, Vegas is open to legendary music every Friday and we are more than happy to feature DJ CJ who is a legend. He has played a major role in promoting Deejaying. He laid a firm foundation for most of us in the industry now.”
Club Vegas will therefore dedicate part of tonight’s show to DJ CJ who is likely to hit the booth.
Earlier this week, DJ CJ featured on a live telephone interview on QFM’s Breakfast Show with DJ Showstar discussing broadcasting and radio presenters.
He particularly expressed happiness at how Zambian DJs and radio presenters have worked hard to turn themselves into brand names.
For this reason his coming and eventual party tonight will not only offer him an opportunity to mingle with his fans and patrons at Club Vegas but also accord him chance to give counsel to the young and upcoming DJs.
During his prime as Zambian DJ, CJ was a huge Oliver Mtukudzi fan who promoted and popularized the late iconic singer’s music.
