Betway to prop up soccer teams performance

BETWAY sports’ betting says it will invest in world class sports thinking and tactics in the teams it has partnered with so that they can perform better in competitions.
Betway country manager Stanley Kakube his company had taken pride in helping develop a sport that was passionately followed in Zambia
Kakube was speaking during a presentation of a grand prize to the winner of a promotion dubbed champions of Africa competition Godfrey Lungu who walked away with K50 000.
He said the competition revolved around the just ended Africa Cup of Nations which was ultimately won by Algeria mid last month.
He further said that participants were required to use their accounts to place bets.
“We created a winning opportunity for players to place their bets by predicting scores, the entry into the competition was free as long as the player was of legal age which is 18 and above,
”There was a slight catch though, players could only choose once per match and all submissions were final, the players were allowed to make predictions five minutes before the start of the match,’’ he said
And receiving his prize a delighted Lungu said he was really glad to have placed his bet and things immediately worked out in his favour.
“I couldn’t believe it but after I settled I was glad that I placed on the right bet,’’
Betway has partnered with Zambian league sides Green Buffaloes and Kitwe United who they sponsor in monetary form.
