Monica Musonda appointed to CAF

ZAMBIAN Lawyer and business executive, Monica Musonda, has been appointed a member of the Confederation of African Football (CAF). Governance and Ethics Committee.

CAF announced Musonda’s appointment to its regulatory organ on Thursday.

She was nominated to the position by the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) delegation to the ongoing CAF Congress being held in Cairo, Egypt, on the sidelines of the AfCON.

Musonda is founder of Java Foods Limited where she is currently the Chief Executive Officer.

Her other credentials include  chairperson of Airtel Networks Zambia Plc and she also sits on the board of ArcelorMittal South Africa Ltd., African Life Assurance Co. Ltd., Zambia Sugar Plc and Dangote Industries Ltd.

She holds graduate degrees from the University of Zambia, the University of London and the Queen Mary University of London.
