Zambia futsal team in SA

THE Zambia futsal national team is in South Africa to take part in the four nation tournament in Johannesburg which started yesterday.
FAZ technical director Lyson Zulu said the team would use the tournament as part of its preparations for the qualifiers to the Morocco 2020 African Championships where they have been paired with Angola.
Zulu said Zambia will also host South Africa in August in the final phase of preparations.
Coach Brian Kunsanama has included Italy-based Abel Kanyamuna who is on the books of Cagliari.
The 17-year old Kanyamuna is currently on break from his Italian club where he stars for the Under-19 side.
Zambia is among other teams participating at the tournament which include Egypt, Mozambique and hosts South Africa.
All games were being played at the Wits University Old Mutual Hall.
Meanwhile FAZ has partnered with the Futsal sports complex for the latter use the facilities at the centre to promote and identify youth talent.
