SENSATIONAL Zanaco FC shopping spree has continued to dominate the Zambian transfer market with its latest inclusion of its former player Kelvin Kaindu who has been romped in to beef up the technical bench.

Its general manager Marlon Kananda said that in a move to strengthen the technical bench, the bankers had recruited an additional assistant coach.

Kananda said former Power Dynamos coach Kelvin Kaindu was joining Zanaco technical bench in a new role as assistant coach to his former team mate Numba Mumamba.

Kaindu played for the bankers in the early mid 2000s has been elevated to the technical bench after hanging his boots.

He later trekked to Zimbabwe where he coached a number of clubs in that country before returning to take up a coaching job at Power Dynamos in 2017.

Kaindu’s two year stint with the Kitwe side was unsuccessful as the team failed to win any silverware which saw the former international player being sacked in early 2019.

Meanwhile the Bankers have also announced the addition of a physical trainer to its technical bench.

Kananda said the side had engaged Thomson Matenda a Zimbabwean national who is also former physical trainer for his national team.

Matenda was part of the Zimbabwe national team that participated at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
