RTSA CEO MR. ZINDABA SOKO REQUESTS FOR LEAVE TO PAVE WAY FOR INVESTIGATIONS INTO THE ALLEGED MONEY LAUNDERING CASE
Lusaka, Tuesday 09th July, 2019 – The Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mr. Zindaba Soko has written to the Ministry of Transport and Communications requesting to proceed on leave to pave way for investigation in the alleged money laundering activities against him over the contract related to the Road Traffic Management System.
As part of good corporate governance practice, Mr. Soko wants the investigation process to proceed without any perceived interference from his office and allow the law to take its course.
From the foregoing, my office has since approved the request for leave.
