Zanaco bank robber captured

A 39-year old female banker of Zanaco Monze branch who vanished after allegedly stealing K59, 000 from a depositor has been cornered by police.
Imenda Musialeke was found walking on Monze – Livingstone Road near Muzoka at a place commonly known as Nigeria.
Police public relations officer Esther Katongo confirmed the development to Sun newspaper in a statement.
Ms Katongo said when searched, the suspect was found with K2, 140. She said investigations have continued.
Police in Choma were looking for Imenda in connection with arson and theft of K59, 000 from a client using a cloned Automated Teller Machine (ATM) card.
The incident was reported to have happened on July 3, at ZANACO, Monze Branch.
Imenda was reported to have set the registry room on fire and some property whose value was yet to be established got burnt.
This is barely a month after Pamela Gondwe robbed Barclays Bank Zambia of over $400,000 in Lusaka. Gondwe is still on the run
