THE 2019 transitional league coronation match that was supposed to have been played at the national Heroes stadium tomorrow has been moved to Woodlands Stadium, FAZ communications manager Mwazi Chanda has confirmed.

Chanda said that the association decided to shift the venue to have the final, the third and fourth play-off held in conditions that met the expectations of all parties involved.

“FAZ) wishes to announce that the venue for the 2019 FAZ/MTN Super Division Transitional League Grand Finale has shifted to Woodlands Stadium on Saturday,

“Fans are however advised to buy tickets from Computicket ahead of schedule to avoid the last minute inconvenience on match day.

In the lunch time kickoff, Zanaco will face Buildcon for the third and fourth play-off – while Zesco United plays Green Eagles at 15:00 hours.

Republican president Edgar Lungu who is also FAZ patron had raised concern at the low turnout of fans during last weekend’s ABSA Cup final held at the Levy Mwanawasa stadium in Ndola which saw Zesco beat Zanaco to emerge champions.
