Chisamba man cheats death

A 52-YEAR-OLD man of Chief Chamuka in Chisamba district, Morgan Kumwenda escaped death after the vehicle he was driving lost control and hit into a tree around 23:00 hours on Thursday night around 23.00 hours.
Deputy Police spokesperson, Mr Rae Hamoonga who confirmed the accident said Mr Kumwenda sustained head and right leg injuries and was rushed to Kabwe General Hospital for treatment.
In a statement to the Sun, Mr Hamoonga said the accident happened when Mr Kumwenda lost control of his vehicle and hit into a tree.
Mr Hamoonga said the accident occurred about 14 kilometres North of Chipembi Girls Secondary School on Chipembi-Kabwe Road and Mr Kumwenda’s LandRover Discovery registration number AHB 4665ZM had its front part extensively damaged.
