THE Chilenje Local Court has dismissed a case of compensation for insults for lack of evidence.

Maureen Bwalya, 35 of Mtendere Township was sued by Agatha Mainza,30, of the same area for insulting her.

Mainza said Bwalya was her husband’s girlfriend.

She called her on June 2 to find out why she insulted her.

“She said (imbwa iwe, uzachioona. Nichani ukamba naba muna banga). I want the court to help us in this matter,” she said.

The two were appearing senior local court magistrate Ackim Phiri.

Bwalya admitted being in a steamy relationship with Mainza’s husband.

She said she called Mainza after getting information that she had slept at her ex-lovers house.

“I called her and asked her what she was doing at my man’s house. I asked her why she went to sleep in that house and on the same bed I used to sleep,

“I told her not to sprinkle charms in that house like she did last time because it won’t work. I told her that she has no right over him,” she said.

The court dismissed the case on grounds that no insults were spoken.
