Man spikes girlfriend’s private parts

A 32-year old man who inserted a stick into his former girlfriends private parts has been cornered by the Police in Katete as he was trying to flee to Lusaka.
Gravazio Sakala, is alleged to have assaulted his former girlfriend on her private parts using a stick on June 1.
Confirming the development to the Sun, Zambia Police public relations officer, Esther Katongo said Sakala on the material day around 21:00 hours assaulted his former girlfriend in Vubwi district and fled but was apprehended yesterday in Katete district.
Ms Katongo said the suspect was arrested while on bus on his way to Lusaka and he was currently detained in police custody.
“Police in Vubwi district have arrested male person for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend on her private parts by using a stick which he inserted into her private parts,
“The victim reported that she was assaulted on her private parts by her former boyfriend Gravazio Sakala aged 32 of the same village using a stick,” Ms Katongo said.
She said that after the victim advised the former boyfriend to go to his wife, he sneaked back into victim’s house the following night, got hold of her and inserted a stick in her private parts with the help of an unknown man.
Meanwhile, a one-year five months baby of Chipata’s Mchinji compound has allegedly been defiled by her step-father identified as Masaiti Mwale.
The suspect, who is a Malawian of Matekwe village, Chief Kalolo of Lilongwe District is alleged to have defiled the baby on June 4 between 20:00 and 01:00 hours when the mother was sleeping.
Ms Katongo said the defilement case was reported by the 16- year old mother of Mchini Compound.
Ms Katongo said the mother of the victim told the police that her baby girl was defiled by her step father while she was asleep.
“Police received a report of defilement which occurred between June 4, at 20:00 hours and June 5, 2019 at 01:00 hours in Chipata District.,
“The report was received from 16-year old mother of the victim that her baby girl aged one year five months was defiled by its step father while she was asleep,” Ms Katongo said.
She said the suspect is detained in Police custody.
