The Southern Writers Bureau in partnership with Dolce Music Academy will on June 1 hold a Zambian Book Exhibition meant to showcase Zambian literal works and promote interaction amongst writers.
This event to be held at Ngoma Dolce Music Academy in Kabulonga, Sable Road, will exhibit local books written by Zambian writers. The idea is also to help promote sales for various books and open an idea sharing forum for the writers.
Amongst the books under exhibition include, “ Tears in Suitcase,” “ Dusk”, “ When the Great One Fall,” “ Bare Breasts”, “ Woman” , “ The Last Laugh” and “ Tukiya” to name only a few.
One of the exhibitors and authors, Sheeba Dzekezeke says she is happy to be part of this prestigious occasion which she hopes will revitalize the book industry in Zambia.
“The Southern Writers Bureau’s initiative to bring authors together is an amazing opportunity for both writers and lovers of the written word to meet, mingle and enjoy the experience of word lovers being in the same space. We will have fiction writers, non-fiction, poetry and other genres. Personally I am looking forward to meeting the audience of other authors and getting to share and introduce them to my work. That way we diversify our individual readers,” said Sheeba
