The two were appearing before Magistrate Miyanda Banda.
Kapembwa told the court that Ndairiwe was his tenant who owed two months’ rentals.

“I brought him here because he has not paid and every time I ask he says he does not owe me any monies. He pays K600 per month, I asked him to vacate my house but he refuses to do so,
“I Just want him to pay and leave my house, he should be sleeping in his mini bus,” said Kapembwa

In defence Ndaiwire told the court that he was only aware of a one month arrears.
“I make payments on the 15th of every month, he came this month but I did not have the money because I was not working. I will make the payment on May 10 and vacate on May 15,” said Ndaiwire
The court ordered that the payments should be made through the court and a K100 was added making the total of owed money to K1, 300 to be paid on May 10.
