South Africa’s Soccer Laduma magazine reported on Tuesday morning that the former Power Dynamos and NAPSA stars player arrived early this week to attend trials with a hope to seal a deal next season.

“A Zambian international striker has landed in South Africa as he looks to secure a PSL deal for next season,’’ reported the magazine.

Situmbeko’s South African agent Tebogo Ramasilo told soccer Laduma that his Zambian client had arrived in that country on Monday night for a trial at Celtic.

He said that he had received an invitation for him from the club and that he would start training with Celtic players that were not part of the travelling squad for Wednesday’s league match against Polokwane City.

Situmbeko joined rejoined Zanaco last December following the end of his loan spell at NAPSA stars.

He has been instrumental for Zanaco this season where he has so far scored 3 goals and some assists after his earlier stint  saw the player being loaned out to Napsa stars due to lack of game time.
