AS PART of continued development of football administration across Zambia, former FIFA Southern Africa development officer Ashford Mamelodi is to conduct a governance workshop with FAZ administrative staff and representative of various local soccer clubs.

According to the FAZ Facebook page, Mamelodi will also hold two-day workshops for Super Division, Division One and Women clubs across the nation.

FAZ General Secretary Adrian Kashala said its members had been informed of the governance workshop that would see representatives from the Super Division, Division One and Women’s clubs participating in the training.

Kashala said the programme in Lusaka and Kitwe will be conducted over two days and participants were expected to meet their own cost of transport and accommodation.

The workshop will equip football administrators with practical knowledge in team management, conflict resolution, corporate governance and communication skills.

In the first workshop participants from Lusaka, Central, Southern, Western and Eastern provinces will converge from March14-15 at the Government Complex.

The second workshop will be held for representatives from Copperbelt, North-Western, Luapula, Muchinga and Northern provinces in Kitwe at Lothian House on Saturday March 16 up to Sunday March 17.

Mamelodi is a renowned football administration expert and the governance workshop is aimed at boosting Zambia’s portfolio in African football.
