ZAMBIA Super League 2019 transitional season enters week 6 with midlands based teams Zanaco and Nkwazi looking to consolidate their positions at the summit of stream A and B respectively.
Zanaco who lead stream A of the transitional league takes a short trip to Godfrey ‘Uccar’ Chitalu stadium to face a stubborn Kabwe Warriors who have only managed one win and three draws out of 4 games while the bankers have posted 4 wins and one draw to their name.
A win for the bankers would consolidate their hold on to the summit of the table as the team appeared to be in a scoring mood since the opening of the season having failed to do so only in one game.
A loss or draw for Warriors would pile more pressure on Coach Tenant Chilumba who was searching for his second win of the season.
Stream B leaders Nkwazi FC take on 4th placed Buildcon who have been average in their last 4 games having only won two, and drawn two games, and lost one out of the 5 games played so far.
A win for Coach Chris Kaunda will consolidate Nkwazi’s top position in stream B as the Lusaka side has started the league on a high note with notable away wins against Power Dynamos and Green Eagles.
New entrants Circuit City and MUZA FC face each other in what could be a potential relegation fight match as the latter was yet to win any game while the former has only won one.
