Circuit City coach Mathews Phiri says his team is yet to grow into a fearful, and giant killing powerhouse.

Mr. Phiri was speaking in an interview with The Sun, following his team’s win over Forest Rangers and a draw with NAPSA Stars.

Mr. Phiri observed that his team’s win over Forest Rangers and draw over NAPSA did not make it a giant killer team because they would only become that after it plays and beats teams like Nkana and Power dynamos who they are in the same League stream.

“We just learn a thing or two from the teams we play, unless maybe when we play big guns like Power and Nkana,” he said.

The 2019 Zambian super league promoted side has won over a number fans, with their type of play, having held NAPSA Stars to a draw and narrowly losing to Power Dynamos, on Sunday.

The team currently sits on position 6, after playing 5 rounds of matches in Stream B of the Zambia Super League.
