Police pursue Tokota Boys leader

POLICE in Kitwe are searching for Wisdom Mwamba, the alleged leader of the infamous Tokota Boys gang, who has been on the run since last year.
Copperbelt Police Commissioner Charity Katanga told The Sun in an interview yesterday that, her office has put up a cash reward of K10, 000 to anyone with information that would lead to the arrest of the Tokota Boys leader who is also commonly known as ‘Moniker Mayweather’.
“We have put a K10, 000 prize on head of Mwamba who has been on the run since last year and we are appealing to members of the public with information which can lead to his arrest to come on forward,” she said.
The Tokota Boys gang, believed to be based in Kitwe’s Ndeke Township, is mostly comprises mostly boys who terrorize residents of that township and other neighbouring residential areas in Kitwe.
