Particulars of the case, which was before magistrate Nsunge Chanda, are that the girls insulted Mr Zulu for no apparent reason and later beat him and assaulted him with an iron bar when he attempted to query them why they were insulting him.

Mr. Zulu reported the matter to Matero Police Station and was later treated at Chingwere Hospital where he was treated for a fractured arm.

Mr. Zulu identified the girl as the one who assaulted him and denied proposing love to her.

The girl however, denied assaulting Mr Zulu but accused him of always following her and proposing love to her.
