LUMEZI Member of Parliament Munir Zulu has said he is ready to help the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) with documentation over the alleged corrupt activities involving two cabinet ministers.

The ACC has invited Mr Zulu to the commission so that he could help with investigations of alleged corrupt activities by Minister of Finance and National Planning Mr Situmbeko Musokotwane and his Infrastructure counterpart Charles Milupi who allegedly received US$250,000 each.

ACC spokesperson Timothy Moono said the commission has   invited Mr Zulu to ACC so that he could furnish them with information.

“Yes we have invited him to come forward but people should not mistake this for a summon, we just want him to help us with information,” Mr Moono said.

Meanwhile Mr Zulu urged Zambians to keep calm since the ACC had responded and that he shall help with documentation.

And Nkana MP Binwell Mpundu said if the allegations were true then his Excellency the President must show that he means business in the fight against corruption by sending the two ministers on leave to pave way for investigations if this information is true.

Mr Zulu said the allegations were huge and all that State House needed to do was show that it meant business.

Meanwhile, both Dr Musokotwane and Mr Milupi have denied being involved in corruption and have threatened to sue Mr Zulu to prove his allegations of grand corruption.

Mr Zulu alleges that both ministers received gratification amounting to $250,000 each, a matter that both have denied.
