Newly elected UPND Kwacha Constituency Member of Parliament Charles Mulenga says he will not be intimidated by individuals wanting to challenge his election.
Mr Mulenga says he will counter all cases petitioning his election in court because he believes that there are no grounds to warrant the petitions to overturn his election.
Mr Mulenga has since described as unfortunate petitions by the Institute of Law, Policy Research and Human Rights, Green Party leader Peter Sinkamba and Governance Activist Isaac Mwanza, to petition the constitutional court to declare the by election held on 21st October 2022, in Kwacha and Kabushi as unconstitutional, illegal and Null and Void.
He says what is important to note is that people who voted for him spoke as enshrined with their constitutional rights but it is disheartening that petitioners were not even participants of the by election.
