CDF for remaining quarters  to be disbursed before year end

Government says it is committed in ensuring that the constituency Development Fund for all the quarters is disbursed before the end of the year.

Responding to a question from Chitambo Member of Parliament Remember Mutale in parliament this morning, on when government will release the remaining CDF, Leader of Government business in the house, Ambrose Lufumo says government is working to ensure every pronouncement that was made in the national budget including the disbursement of the CDF is fulfilled.

Mr Lufumo says government is putting in place measures to expedite the release of the funds.

Government yesterday announced   that 50% of the annual allocation has been released since January.
