MEET BARRY, BALLY’s NEW APPOINTEE
Brigadier General Collins Barry of Zambia Air Force (ZAF) has been elevated to the rank of Lieutenant General and appointed Zambia Air Force (ZAF) commander by President Hakainde Hichilema.
Barry is born of a Scottish father who was a technical drawing teacher at Solwezi Technical School.
His mother is a Kaonde from North Western Province.
Lt General Barry has worked and trained alot of pilots in the Zambia Air Force.
According to North Western Newsline, Barry speaks fluently in his local language and that anyone that meets him does not need to struggle to use the queen’s dialect to converse with him.
He was recently part of the disaster response team in Mumbwa.
