Copperbelt Provincial Health Director Robert Zulu says the province has seen a significant reduction in HIV positivity rate amongst members of the population.
Dr Zulu also says about 94 per cent of patients in the province have been put on anti-retro viral therapy which has contributed in a reduction in their viral load which prevents further transmission.
He says less people are getting new infections due to virus suppression among patients who have low viral load.
Dr Zulu states that the province records only about three new positive cases out of ten tests conducted daily on average as compared to some time ago when 7 out of ten would test positive.
