Handball world cup qualifying tournament postponed due to covid 19

The Handball World Cup qualifying tournament for African countriesin Guinea has been postponed due to high rising numbers of Covid-19 cases in Africa.

The Zambia Handball National team was expected to participate in the tournament.

And Handball Association of Zambia (HAZ) president Victor Bwalya Banda says his Association will only know its fate in the competition after its meeting with the Confederation of African Handball which is slated for July 15.

And Banda says the Association has since called off all its activities and that training for both the Handball boys and girls teams will only resume once direction is given by the African handball body.
