More people have continued paying tribute to Zambian founding president Kenneth Kaunda, who died yesterday at age of 97.
And African Union Chairperson, , Moussa Faki Mahamat says the death of Zambia’s First. Kenneth Kaunda is an indescribable loss not only to Zambia but the entire continent.
Meanwhile Algerian Ambassador to the African Union, Elhamdi Salah says President Kaunda’s rich legacy of fighting for African liberation will be respected by all Africans.
Mr Salah says Dr Kaunda was respected on the continental due to his huge contribution to African liberation
And Democratic Republic of congo ambassador to the African union Jean-Leon Ngandu Ilunga has described Dr. Kaunda as a baobab heroic pan Africanist who achieved a lot not only for Zambia but Africa as a whole.
Meanwhile United states of America has also joined the Zambian and international community in mourning the African icon Dr Kaunda.
United States of America charge de affairs David Young says Dr Kaunda was steadfast in uniting Zambia’s 73 tribes through his commitment to “One Zambia, One Nation.
Mr Young says Dr Kaunda was also known for being an advocate against discrimination of people living with HIV/AIDS and was a tireless advocate for the poor and marginalized.
