ZAMRA approved five more COVID 19 vaccines

The Zambia medicines regulatory authority ZAMRA has approved five more covid 19 vaccines to be used in Zambia.

Ministry of health permanent secretary for technical services Kennedy Malama says the approval comes after numerous tests conducted by the authority.

Dr. Malama says the ministry more vaccines will be accessed in due time.

He has explained that the vaccine help to prevents severe infection.

And Dr. Malama has said that schools have become vulnerable to the third wave of the pandemic.

Dr. Malama has since called on the ministries of general and higher education to work towards improving adherence levels in schools.

Meanwhile Dr. Malama has called on resident doctors to ensure that they reconsider their decision to be on go slow.

Dr. Malama says with the country working towards avoiding a public health crisis it is important that doctors are on duty.

He has since urged the DOCTORS to call off their go slow as government is working towards meeting their demands.
