A LUSAKA boy has told the magistrates court that he started smoking marijuana because of group influence.
Appearing before Magistrate Ruth Kapulo, the boy admitted trafficking in 1.6 Kilogrammes of marijuana on 24 February while acting with others unknown.
Magistrate: Did you traffick in 1.6 kilogrammes of Marijuana?
Juvenile: Yes.
Magistrate: What was it for?
Juvenile: I was smoking.
Magistrate: Where did you get the drugs?
Juvenile: We went to buy with my friends.
Magistrate: When did you start smoking?
Juvenile: I started smoking recently because of group influence.
