CHINGOLA-BASED Spax Storm Basket team has continued to dominate the Copperbelt Basketball Association (CBA) league having remained unbeaten in its last 10 games this season.
Spax on Saturday beat Mufulira Saints 75- 18 to stay at the top of the log with 21 points with 11 more games remaining to be played.
And Coach Andrew Nyirenda told the Sun Sport that the performance of his team was satisfactory as it was falling right into the objective of the club.
Nyirenda hoped to replicate last season by going unbeaten and qualifying for national championship and subsequently won it.
“ I’m very happy with the performance of the team, we have gone unbeaten so far and we want to remain like that for the rest of the season, we want to go all the way and win the national championship,’’
“We have been dominant on the Copperbelt in the last three years, last season we were champions having gone unbeaten throughout and in 2017 we only lost three games but still won the championship,” Nyirenda said.
