CHAMBESHI’S PROWESS ON TEST

ZAMBIAN League new comers, Kansanshi Dynamos, will yet again aim to prove their elite status when they face the wounded Nkana side after loss of its back to back games.
Kansanshi will prove to be a big litmus test for Nkana coach Beston Chambeshi’s future at the Scrivener Stadium as he comes under scrutiny from the Wusakile faithful who are agitated by a string of poor results at the start of the season.
The Nkana gather goes into the Week 5 Super League home encounter after last Sunday’s fracas when disgruntled fans pelted objects at its technical bench after a one-nil loss to Forest Rangers.
A result other than a win for Chambeshi could just spell the end of his tenure at Nkana where ‘the 12th player’ has a very big stake and influence over who coaches the team.
Nkana could even be in a more precarious situation as they face a Dynamos side, bubbling with confidence after only losing one match in 4 games.
The Solwezi side has only lost to NAPSA Stars away in Lusaka in a Week 2 game and beat Mufulira Wanderers in their famous win away at Shinde Stadium last weekend.
A win for the league new comers could consolidate their stay at the top. Kansanshi currently occupies fourth position on the log table while Nkana are seventh with 6 points and a win could only push them further up the ladder.
