DKB pleased with debut performance

Deborah Kayabo Bauleni musically known as DMK says she is happy to have made her first biggest debut performance at G.Greens in Lusaka last Friday.
The artiste who has pledged to use her music talent to reach out to people and help them find comfort in whatever situation they may be in was a supporting act to music giants Roberto and Macky2.
She said just her experience of giving her music to the crowd made her feel very special. DMK performed her now-becoming popular single ‘ Reveal Yourself’.
‘Reveal Yourself’ is a song that is set in ragga dance hall tone and features Karasa Karao. It reveals DBK’s talent as a female artiste with convincing vocal abilities. It is a song that combines two great talents. It offers motivation and also gives that urge to dance.
For this reason, she performed the song with support from Karasa. The song was well-received and this gave DKB to look forward to more performances in future.
Described as a singer, songwriter and performer, DKB was raised in Lusaka and discovered her passion for music at a very early age of 7.
She remembers mastering lyrics word for word from a number of songs by different international and local artistes. She also loved singing and dancing for crowds at school gigs and surprisingly even the older girls loved her such that they would call her to go and perform for them in their dormitories.
With last week’s performance, DKB is happy to live her dream.
