CLINICAL OFFICER, DATA ASSOCIATE DOCKED OVER THEFT OF A LAPTOP

A CLINICAL officer at Chawama Level One Hospital and a data associate of Kamwala South have been charged with theft of a laptop worth K9, 000.
Saulosi Chirwa of Lusaka’s Garden Park area and Joseph Lyamba 28, a data associate of Kamwala South are jointly charged with theft contrary to Section 272 of the Penal Code Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia.
Allegations are that on May 4, while together, the two stole one HP laptop worth K9, 000 the property of the hospital.
Chirwa and Lyamba will appear in court soon.
Meanwhile two Zambia Police officers Sam Phiri of Kafue, 39, and Richard Nyirenda, 31, of Chiwaya police camp have been charged with one count of murder contrary to Section 200 of the Penal Code Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia.
Allegations are that on august 17, the two murdered Vincent Mweemba.
The suspects who are in police custody will soon appear in court for explanation of charge awaiting instruction from the Director of Public Prosecution(DPP).
