ONE person has died and more than 35 people have sustained injuries after the canter light truck they were traveling in lost control and overturned on Chirundu-Siavonga Road
Chirundu council secretary Mr John Mwanza confirmed the accident which happened on Monday around 155.00 hours.
Mr Mwanza told the SUN in a telephone interview the deceased has been identified as Arnold Malumbe aged 30 while one seriously injured Wilson Hamoonga whose age is not known has
The canter was being driven by Josias Galapa who was on run and was carrying soccer supporters of Sikoongo Tigers Football club to Machavika for a game.
All the victims comprising of female and male were receiving treatment at nearby Mtendere Mission Hospital where they has been admitted.
