UK-Zambia Independence Celebrations on cards

The Zambians living in the UK are preparing for a huge celebration to mark Zambia’s 55th Independence.
The event dubbed ‘ UK-Zambia Independence Celebrations’ will take place in London at Golden Palace Banquetting on Saturday October 26.
Organised by Maria’s Boutique, Zed Modern Fashions LTD and Miss Malaika UK, the event is set to promote Zambian patriotism and help build a stronger community among Zambians living in the UK.
The initiative is also meant to raise funds for the Mumba Children’s project, a charity founded by Hildah Mulenga. This charity also runs the Miss Malaika UK, a partner to this Independence event.
For this reason, the UK-ZAMBIA will feature some aspects of music entertaiment by some of Zambia’s top music performers within and outside.
On the line up is Rich Bizzy, Jae Cash and Drimz who will travel to the UK for the event. There are several other entertainers also set to light up this event. These include DJ Enomatix, King Chi, Ccipo, DJ Kauzy, and The Zednet all from UK.
According to Maria Sakala Hayford-Fynn, the event organiser, the UK-ZAMBIA is supported by several partners with RwandAir being the proud and Major Sponsor for the UK Zambia Independence Celebrations 2019.
