WARRIORS’ NEW STRIKER PROMISES GOALS

NEWLY signed Zimbabwean striker for ‘Magnificent’ Kabwe Warriors Farai Mususunye, has promised to score more goals and help his new side win some silverware.
Speaking during his unveiling ceremony at Godfrey ‘Ucar’ Chitalu stadium in Kabwe, Mususunye told the Sun sport that he understood the demands of his new club in the Zambian super league.
He said Warriors was an ambitious side that wanted to win some silverware and as result his mandate was to score more goals for the club.
Mususunye called on the fans to support the club and promised to do his best.
He said that he wanted to win some silverware for Warriors because he was coming from a team where he was used to winning things.
“I am here to help the team achieve its goal. When I arrived here, they said they want to win something and as a striker, I am promising to score goals so that the team achieves its mandate,
“My message to the supporters is that I will do the best I can, like I did with previous clubs. At Shabanie FC, we are used to winning things. I will equally put in my best so that I win something at Kabwe Warriors,” said Mususunye
Warriors announced the signing of the striker from Zimbabwean side Shabanie Football Club.
Mususunye also previously played for FC Platinum in his home country before he joined Shabanie FC.
Warriors have also agreed on a one year loan deal for Zanaco striker Felix Nyaende.
Warriors will open their 2019/20 super league campaign with an away fixture this afternoon against Green Eagles at Choma’s Independence Stadium.
