Accident victim dies in ambulance accident on way to hospital

NAIROBI, KENYA – An accident victim who was being transported to the Kerugoya Referral Hospital died after the ambulance transporting him collided with another vehicle a kilometre to the facility.
Six people in the same ambulance sustained serious injuries during the Friday evening accident that occurred at Kwa Mucina section along the Kerugoya–Kutus Road.
The ambulance driver was said to have sustained a broken arm while another person suffered multiple fractures of the legs.
