Works on Kelvin Siwale Road cheer Mayor Sampa

THE construction works on Lusaka’s Kelvin Siwale Road behind Arcades Mall will be completed before the end of this week, the contractor, Avic International has assured has assured.
The assurance was given to Lusaka Mayor Miles Sampa on Monday when he went to expect progress of the works of the road which was in a deplorable state and a danger to human lives.
Mr Sampa said the local authority had received a lot of complains from members of public that the road was badly potholed after the rainy season.
“On Monday I inspected road works on Kelvin Siwale Road, which commenced recently. This is the road behind Arcades Mall leading to NASDEC,
“It was badly potholed and we have been receiving many public complaints since the last rains,” he said.
Mr Sampa said Avic International updated him that the gravel works had been completed and the company would start taring works within this week.
