Lusaka’s Another Mike’s Pub & Grill Sunday Chills has become the latest entertainment pass time for most local celebrities and music lovers.

Every Sunday, the venue hosts guest music DJs that give out their best in music mixing making the place become a music hub and mingling centre for most entertainers.

The Sunday Chills also features surprise artistes whose main aim is to interact with their fans and share their unique lifestyle including dancing.

Amongst the regular artistes at the Sunday Chills which have now been mainly taken over by DJs Andy, Twizzie, Kuks and Sean Malon among others include the Dandy Krazy, Rich Bizzy, D-Bwoy Telem, Shenky Shugar and Dalisoul.

“Sunday Chills gives us time to also relax and enjoy entertainment as celebrities. When I am here myself, I come to mix in a normal way with my fans. I come to listen to music, I come to dance and to drink,” says Dandy Krazy who has rarely missed the Sunday Chills.

Dandy believes Zambia  needs more of such interactions because it is not every time that people have to pay to see artistes.

And Sunday Chills manager Andrew Zulu aka DJ Andre says the initiative of is to keep people entertained and interactive within their space.

He says the ‘Chills’ is an opportunity for artistes to also premier their latest music as DJs play music on request.

“The main thing is to have fun in a relaxed mood on a Sunday. The other reason is to promote DJs and give them a platform to showcase their skills. We are happy with the support we get from artistes who come to Sunday Chills,” said DJ Andre.
