Republic President Edgar Lungu has dropped Youth
and sports Development Minister Moses Mawere replaced him with Ndola central MP
Emmanuel Mulenga.
Mawere who has been sports Minister since 2016 has been relieved of his duties following the reshuffling of the cabinet which has seen some ministers being swapped.
Some of the reshuffles are as follows, have seen Brian Mushimba moved from the Ministry of Transport and communications to Ministry of Higher Education, while Nkandu LUO has been moved from Higher Education to the Ministry of fisheries and livestock.
Also moved is Minister in the office of the Vice President Sylvia Chalikosa who has been taken to works and supply while housing and infrastructure Minister Ronald Chitotela has been moved to the Ministry of tourism.
Works and Supply minister Kafwaya has been taken to the Ministry of Transport and communication.
Fisheries and livestock minister Kampamba Mulenga has taken over the ministry of Community Development replacing Olipa Phiri who has been moved to the office of the Vice President.
Chipata Central Member of Parliament Moses Mawere has come under fire for having failed to mediate the impasse between FAZ president Andrew Kamanga and his predecessor Kalusha Bwalya over was to represent the country at CAF.
