Musician Izrael formerly Exile had a wonderful experience on Saturday during a weekend gig held at Lusaka’s Tickers Pub & Grill.

The show which was basically organized due to popular demand gave Izrael, one of Zambia’s pioneering artistes of the modern Zed Beats, a chance to reconnect with his loving fans.

The singer who made his way to the stage around 19:30 hours was motivated to see a very supportive audience. He took time to sing some few songs before the music was played. He then took a long music trip of his career singing songs from as way back as 2007 to the present day.

It was exciting to see most fans join in and offer unsolicited for backing vocals to common and popular songs like ‘Siki Yalelo’, ‘So Lucky’, ‘Walimbikila,’ and ‘Kumvela ni mvela’.

With most of his songs proving popular, Izrael had a rare opportunity to allow some fans sing with him all to their excitement.

The show took close to an hour after which he paved way for the resident DJs to do their thing.

Before he rocked the stage, budding artiste Sparka Sitali was also on hand to lay a good foundation for Izrael.

This coming Friday, Tickers Pub will host Roberto the Superstar.
