KITWE-based super league giants Power Dynamos have re- engaged veteran soccer coach Fordson Kabole as its trainer.
Club chief executive officer Happy Munkondya told the Sun sport that the club had reappointed the veteran to head its technical bench.
Kabole’s re-appointment followed the expiry of his short-term contract at the end the of the 2019 transitional league.
The veteran coach who also managed Power and the led the team to its last league title in 2011, was brought back to the team after parting company with former coach Kelvin Kaindu last April.
Munkondya said that Kabole will manage the Kitwe side up to December.
“The Club is confident that Kabole will continue to render the desired stability and performance to the team from where he ended in the last FAZ/MTN Mini League,
“With his experience, he will shape a solid foundation, critical to achieving both the short term and long term objectives,” said Munkondya
He was alive to the expectations of the fans and he assured them that the Club was on the right course for long term engagement of a head Coach.
Kabole was recruited following Power’s string of poor results under former trainer Kaindu last season which saw the team slump out of the top four in the transitional league.
Power finished eighth on the log in stream B of the transitional league behind arch rivals Nkana.
Aside from leading Power to its 2011 league title, the veteran Kabole also managed the Nchanga Rangers 1996-1999 golden generations leading the side to its second and last title in 1998.
He has also managed Kalulushi Modern Stars .
