The annual indaba that focuses on ways to improve Zambian radio presentation and pragramming is this year taking place on July 5 at the Taj Pamodzi in Lusaka.
Initiated and anchored by Chilu Lemba, a former Radio Phoenix presenter now voiceover artiste and producer in South Africa, the Zanaco sponsored Radio Summit will bring together a powerful team of media experts to share their experience on various topics relating to ideal radio management and presentation.
These experts are drawn from a number of countries namely Zambia, Germany and South Africa.
“Our speakers are well represented in their respective fields in broadcasting. Ranging from the technological to the philosophical,” organisers say.
This year’s speakers include four from Zambia, namely Chibamba Kanyama-economist and veteran broadcaster, Kamiza Chikula-marketing and voiceover expert, Mek Phiri-broadcaster and Musa Kalenga-author.
From South Africa the summit will feature content creator Helen Herimbi, media personality Masechaba Ndlovu, Power FM’s Linda Manganye and Melanie Bala from Metro FM.
