‘Lusaka agric show on’

THE 2019 Zambia National agriculture and Commercial Show will be held from July 31 to August 5, 2019 as planned, the Agriculture and Commercial Show Society of Zambia (ACSZ) has said.
Society president Caroline Silwamba refuted social media reports suggesting that the show will not take place this year.
Mrs Silwamba’s remarks come after some social media platforms reported that this year’s commercial show had been suspended.
She told the Sun in a statement yesterday that contrary to the social media reports, the show will be held under the theme ‘Embracing Industrial Development’.
“The ACSZ wishes to inform exhibitors, show society members, partners, stakeholders and the public that the 2019 show will be held as planned from July 31 to August 5, 2019,” Mrs Silwamba said.
She appealed to exhibitors to continue with their preparations, and invited would be exhibitors to come on board.
Mrs Silwamba said show-goers should just prepare themselves to come and enjoy the 2019 the commercial show.
The show is held each year to showcase the country’s potential for investment in agriculture and the commercial sector.
