Zambia will not be black mailed by mining investors – Lungu

President Edgar Lungu says he will not allow Zambia to be black mailed mining investors as the country is still ripe for investment.

Speaking on arrival at the Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe Airport today,  Mr Lungu says that he will engage expert representatives in resolving the impasse between miners and two mining companies namely Konkola Coper Mines and Mopani.

The head of state says he will not allow mining companies to exploit workers in order to stay in the country.

And Mr Lungu says his position is not to instill fear in investors but to allow Zambia to be black mailed.

He has emphasized the zero tolerance to investor exploitation;
