Kan’gombe hires lawyer to escape punishment from dialogue forum

Local Government Association of Zambia President Christopher Kangombe has sought legal advise in a matter in which the NDF committee summoned him to appear for displinary action.

The NDF commitee summoned Mr Kangombe to appear for disciplinary action for allegedly leaking private information.

But Mr this afternoon Mr Kangombe announced that he was not served with an offical summon but onpy saw it on social media.

He however says the aummon was given to him later today around 14  hours today  indicating that he should appear before the committee around 09 hours this morning.

Mr.Kangombe took the summon to horbday Kabwe associates in company of over 100 mayors from all across the country who were offering solidarity and chanting slogans in support of the Kitwe mayor .

And Lusaka lawyer Horbday Kabwe says there is no case as actions by Mr Kangombe are legal and abiding .

And LGAZ luapula chaptrr vice president Emmanuel Chungu says mayors across the country are in full support of Mr Kangombe.

Mr Chungu who is also mansa mayor says the Kitwe mayor is fighting for not only mayors but zambian citizens as well.
