Veep Wina discharged

ZAMBIA’S Vice President, Inonge Mutukwa Wina has been discharged from the hospital after completing her treatment for a cardiac condition and undergoing a medical check-up, minister of Health Chitalu Chilufya has announced.
According to Dr Chilufya, Mrs Wina was remarkably well with all the cardiac parameters within the normal range.
“Mrs Wina, who is in a jovial mood, will rest at a hotel pending her return home in the next few days,” said Dr Chilufya in a statement yesterday.
The vice president was evacuated to South Africa for treatment on Sunday this week.
