National dialogue forum spokesperson Isaac Mwanza says the reduction in the number of delegates attending the forum is as result of non receipt of sitting allowances.

It observed that the number of delegates is radically reducing everyday from the 750 delegates received on the first day.

Mr Mwanza says the proceedings are so far smooth and encouraged delegates who have stayed away to join as they have time to participate and add their voice.

He says there could be a possible extension of the sitting if resolutions will not be completed within the given period.C

Meanwhile Mr Mwanza says the 38 UPND members of parliament have written to the forum asking to be guided on whether they should stay away or it is mandatory for them to attend.

And NDC Roan Member of Parliament Joseph Chishala has also asked to be excused d as he awaits to be sworn in.
