Kanganja calls for new strategies of fighting cross border crime

Inspector General of Police, Mr Kakoma Kanganja says there is need for increased effort in devising strategies aimed at fighting all forms of cross border crimes in the southern African region.

Mr Kanganja says  there is need to direct resources towards strengthening border areas which are access points for criminals involved in cross border crime in the region.

Meanwhile Mr Kanganja has called on Southern African Region for Police Chiefs Cooperation (SARPCCO) member active participation of all SARPCCO member countries in the activities of the regional body.

He says South African National Police members have pivotal role in towards the development of the region body.
