Lusaka Central Member of Parliament Margaret Mwanakatwe has expressed happiness on the construction progress of the New Bauleni mini hospital.

Speaking when she toured the construction site Ms. Mwanakatwe expressed satisfaction on the progress made and quality of the facility and on the works done so far.

She is confident that once completed the Mini hospital will accelerate health care provision in the area.

Ms. Mwanakatwe says the mini hospital has come in good time when the population in Bauleni is growing every day.

The Lusaka central law maker also met with NMS Infrastructure Limited, the UK EPC contractor and SUSCON Construction Solutions Limited their local partner and Zambian building contractor working on the facility.

And NMS Infrastructure country director Andrew Holman says the mini hospital should be completed in 16 weeks instead of the projected 21 weeks.

He also added that all the mini hospitals in the program which includes the construction of 108 mini hospitals and 3 district hospitals across Zambia would be fully equipped and with well qualified staff.
